Mountivation's Developing Professional Legal Expertise and Ethical Decision Making Program is a CLE/CPD course like no other. Combining principles used to develop sport champions with the latest research on acquiring expertise, Mountivation has created a unique programme for the legal profession - a way of combining work with having a thoroughly good time in the mountains.
University of Georgia professor and PGA Tour coach Dr. Paul Schempp will help you analyze your current legal skills, set meaningful goals, select strategies to cultivate performance impact factors, and plan your success. This is a program for accomplished attorneys/solicitors, but who believe their best is yet to come.

Dr. Paul G. Schempp, CEO
Named the 2004 Distinguished Scholar by the International Center for Performance Excellence at West Virginia University, Dr. Paul G. Schempp is an expert on developing expertise. The author of six books, including 5 Steps to Expert: How to go from business novice to elite performer (Davies-Black Publishing) and having delivered over 200 presentations in 26 countries makes Paul an internationally renowned speaker, scholar, and consultant.
Dr. Schempp received his doctoral degree in education from Boston University. He is currently a professor at the University of Georgia where he directs a research laboratory dedicated to the study of experts and the development of expertise. A College of Education Excellence in Teaching award from the University of Georgia is testimony to Dr. Schempp's effectiveness as a teacher and presenter.
Dr. Schempp's cutting-edge research on expertise has made him a much sought after keynote for professional associations and corporate conferences committed to improving performance.
Clients include the American Society for Training and Development, BASF Corp., Buckhead Business Association, Club Corporation of America, Conde Nast Publications, National Association for Sport and Physical Activity, National Institute of Education (Singapore), Nix Health Care Systems, Professional Golf Association of America, Society for Human Resource Management, the Swiss Soccer Federation, USA Track and Field and Vistage.
Applying research to practice, Paul has designed performance programs for the Swedish Golf Federation, English Golf Union and Mexico National Golf teams. He currently coaches several winners on the PGA, European PGA professional golf tours.
Alex Falgiano, Marketing Specialist
Alex Falgiano became a part of the Mountivation family in 2011. Alex has marketing experience through her work at a number of organizations, including the American Red Cross, the University of Georgia Health Center, and St. Mary’s Wellness Center. In addition, she worked for the University of Georgia Athletic Association, as a marketing assistant, and the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Georgia, where she served as the chief marketing coordinator to promote a new Master’s program at a satellite campus. In terms of sport experience, Alex has competed in organized team sports throughout her life, and was a member of the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 University of Georgia Club Cheerleading teams. Alex received her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the University of Georgia, and she is continuing at the University of Georgia to complete her Master’s degree in Kinesiology, specializing in Sport Management and Policy. Her career goals include marketing sport programs and working in finance for a professional sport franchise.
Brian Berger, Social Media Specialist
Brian Berger joined the Mountivation family in 2011, overseeing the company’s website and social media operations. Brian has previous multimedia experience in maintaining websites, planning and managing events using social media, and evaluating analytics. Since 2003, Brian has worked as a freelance contractor for an ESPN production company (Kwokman Productions), helping to produce prominent sporting events, such as SEC Primetime College Football Games, the Chick-fil-A Bowl, and Major League Baseball’s National League Division Series. Brian’s other sport related work experiences include assisting the University of Georgia Athletic Association’s academic services and serving as an Outside Customer Relations employee for the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail site in Auburn/Opelika, AL. Brian played basketball and golf in high school, taught physical education at the University of Georgia, and coached high school basketball. Brian earned both his Bachelor’s (Political Science) and Master’s (Sports Management) degrees at the University of Georgia and is currently completing his PhD in Sport Pedagogy.
